Since the arrival of Patso, Rozy and their family to South Africa some 19 years ago, they have been involved in the restaurant industry. They have worked in a few other restaurants in town until one day they decided to take over The Deck restaurant. They have been managing the restaurant since 2008.

The Deck restaurant is situated where the famous Karl's Baunstrube used to be, and it remains a great place for a family dinner or a meeting place for friends, with an excellent A la Carte menu, including a variety of delicious Bulgarian traditional dishes, as well as favourites such as, Glazed Eisbein, Grilled Baby Kinglip, The Deck salad , the best Haloumi Cheese and Avocado Ritz in town and many more.
